4/20/11 – Auto DM = unfollow

The automatic direct message is one of the worst features of any social media platform (Farmville updates are a close second). Auto DMing me on Twitter will result in an instant unfollow… even if the DM say, “You’re awesome and a really nice person”. I learned this recently and I hope you agree. Please don’t auto DM – make Twitter a better place.

About 1 Thing Learned

I believe that we all learn far too many things each day to ever remember. 1 Thing Learned is a place for me to keep a record of these learnings while at the same time sharing them with all of you.

But it goes beyond that – the idea is to have all of you use the comments section to share your 1 Thing Learned and collectively we can all learn from one another.

Some learnings will be life lessons (i.e. respect your elders) some will be facts/opinion (i.e. Don’t Tweet what you ate for breakfast) but all in all I hope you find this entertaining & helpful
